BMR – Infection and Immunity
The “Biomedical Research – Infection and Immunity” group uses the pig as a model to study the innate and adaptive immune responses to human diseases, in particular influenza and Chlamydia trachomatis infections and food allergy. The mission of this group is to promote not only the basic understanding of these immune responses but also to drive translational and applied research towards the development of diagnostic tools, treatments, and vaccines.
