SHP – Infection and Immunity

The “Swine Health Population – Infection and Immunity” group studies the innate and adaptive immune responses to relevant pig diseases. Our focus is to improve the understanding of the host-pathogen interactions and memory response in PRRSV and influenza infections. The final goal is to use this basic knowledge to limit the impact of these highly relevant pig diseases by developing antiviral treatment and prevention strategies.
